| Powell’s Sweet Shoppe is an old-time, old-fashioned,
old-world candy store taken from America’s imagination at the turn-of-the-previous-century.
Everyone has an extremely vivid and pleasant memory of where they
went as a child to get their favorite candy - whether it was the corner
market or their Grandma’s candy dish. Powells is a nostalgic recreation
of that classic and bygone era. On the surface they sell ice cream
and sweets, but you don’t have to stand in the Shoppe too long before
you realize that what they really offer are whimsy and memories....

| The Laguna de Santa Rosa is Sonoma County's Green
Island -- the largest freshwater wetland complex in coastal Northern
California and an integral part of the environment and economy of
Sonoma County. The Laguna de Santa Rosa Foundation is working
to see the Laguna preserved, restored, appreciated, and enjoyed by
all living creatures who live within, migrate through or visit its
250-square-mile watershed, from Rohnert Park-Cotati to Forestville
and Windsor, from Sebastopol to Santa Rosa. Their programs include
